UAL (University of the Arts London) have published a short think-piece by UAL Chair Professor of Communication Design Nick Bell on its UAL Voices platform where it shares the research of its academics. The piece is about the way Early Lab uses making as part of its process of engaging and empowering project stakeholders. It begins "There is something about making things, compared to merely discussing things. Something about visualizing things compared to merely writing them down that gets people thinking in a different way.
