BNFL Visitor’s Centre for the Science Museum

The redesign (with Casson Mann) of British Nuclear Fuels’ Visitor’s Centre at Sellafield, Cumbria curated by the Science Museum, 2002. The Museum’s brief asked us to create the conditions in which a public forum for debate about the future of energy production, supply and use in the UK could happen. An immersive audio-visual installation of six giant screens was its centrepiece. Visitors were able to upload their own opinions onto the display – the energy debate at the Centre therefore evolving during its three year life span.
